The Huntington Gardens is my go to place when I need a world of inspiration in a days visit. The bamboo forest delights you with lily pads, Koi fish, geese and turtles, breathtaking. The tropical gardens envelop you in a world of greens. The fountains and statues are mesmerizing!!!

My Mother’s Day gift is the blessing of my two greatest creations, Sophie Rose and Lila May! They’re my daily inspiration and my heart and soul!

Egyptian revival scarab, Circa 1920 finds itself encrusted with Lapis Lazuli, Carnelian and Turquoise. The scarab, a sacred beetle for Egyptians who believed that the scarabs represented rebirth as well as the rising and setting of the sun. Ever since I went to my first Egyptian art exhibit as a child I have had a fascination with scarabs and have coveted them ever since. For me the ability to recreate yourself is represented through the scarab.

Serpents have been worshiped since the dark ages. My fascination with them is endless. I am in awe with their beauty of texture and color. This piece, another extraordinary example of Egyptian revival dates back to 1880 and represents royalty (serpent) and rebirth (scarab). An eternal beauty!!!

An imperial Chinese dragon symbolizes power, strength and good luck. This is an incredible example of craftsmanship. This stunning masterpiece is Circa 1900, England and is sadly NOT in my collection, a girl can dream!

A compact destined for a Princess; this is the most stunning compact I have ever laid eyes on. Circa 1920, encrusted with Rubies, Emeralds, Opals, Sapphires, Garnets, Amethyst, Citrine, and Seed Pearls… Gasp!!!

Tahitian Pearls forever hold the mystery of the depths of the sea. Their luster and brilliant hues never cease to amaze me! Lore says nothing can enhance the magnificence of these fine pearls except a woman!
